Clive Williams, PhD, served his New York Community as a Family Therapist/Counselor for over 15 years, specializing in Relationship Counseling, Hypnosis/Behavior Modification & Stress Management. He founded P.S.P. Counseling Services Inc., in 1993 in Jamaica Estates, Queens, New York, which he directed until his retirement from Counseling. Clive completed an in-service tutorial program designed for Counselors, Pastors & Social Workers at Harvard University in 1994, under the direction of Dr. Herbert Benson, Director of the Mind/Body Medicine Center at Deaconess Hospital Center in Boston. He is also a licensed Minister & Marriage Officer in the State of New York.

Clive received a Graduate Diploma in Radio and Television broadcasting from The Connecticut School of Broadcasting, New Jersey in 1988, and returned as a lecturer in 2003.

Clive attended Long Island University Brooklyn Campus, the Former American Institute of Hypnotherapy, Irvine, California, and St. John’s University Seminary in Springfield, Louisiana, where he received his PhD.

He has travelled extensively as a speaker/teacher and seminar leader as well as a teaching consultant with The New York Training Group.

Clive is the author of two books, “100 Steps Necessary for Survival in A Stressful Environment,” and “Release Stress and Revitalize your Life” along with numerous articles dealing with public affairs, human behavior, and health. Clive has synthesized science, philosophy, and spirituality to provide his listening and reading audiences a more comprehensive and integrated learning experience focused on Human Potential & Purpose.

Today Clive is Chairman and CEO of Whereitzat Media Group, Inc., Publisher of Whereitzat Magazine and Gowhereitzat.com and producer of The Business Innovators and Game-Changers Awards Gala. Clive also hosts the TV/Podcast show – Conversations with Clive Williams. Clive recently founded Jamaicanomics Inc., a social enterprise corporation to focus on curating the achievements and expanding the potential of Jamaicans at home and abroad.

Clive has served as an elected public official in New York city, he is the former Chairman of Community Board 13 in the Borough of Queens, (The first Jamaican Chairperson of a Queens Community Board), where he also served for over seven years as – Chairman for both Public Safety and Economic Development. Clive also served on the board of the JFK Airport Re-development Program Advisory Council – a $13.5 billion dollar Investment Project to expand the JFK Terminals and its facilities.

The recipient of many citations for his community work, Dr. Williams has been recognized and honored by the Governor of New York State, the United States Congress, The New York City Council, The Queens Borough President, The Brooklyn Borough President, The Jamaica Rotary Club of Queens, The Nassau County Executive, and several Community organizations.

On October 17, 2022, the title of Badge of Honor for Meritorious Service BH(M) was conferred on Clive by the Jamaican government at the celebration of The Jamaica National Honors & Awards Ceremony in Kingston, Jamaica for services rendered to the Jamaican diaspora in New York.

Clive has been married to his wife Michelle for over 50 years and is a proud father and grandfather, even to those who are not his progeny. He dedicates much of his time writing, publishing, and working with local leaders to improve his community. Clive is an active golfer & bicyclist who plays hard and works even harder.
